"Chaberin Dango" was developed with the aim of becoming a beloved specialty of Toyota City.

An article about Chaberin Dango was published in the morning edition (Toyota edition) of the Chunichi Shimbun today (June 20, 2013). The name "Chaberin" comes from the Mikawa dialect words "taberin" and "shaberin." The name was chosen with the hope that people would enjoy the dango with Japanese tea and have lively conversations.
About "Chaberin Dango"

Chaberin Dango (tea dumplings) were created using Inabu Donguri no Sato (Mineasahi rice flour from Inabu, Toyota City) and Takakaen (tea leaves and matcha grown on our own farm from Takaoka, Toyota City).
