Tea-filled lunch

Freshly picked sprouts are deep-fried,

Tencha tea rice,

Matcha sweets, etc.

It's all about tea.

Date and time: May 7, 2015 (Thursday) 10:30-13:00

Location: Hidamari meeting point (next to Takakaen)

Number of participants: First 30 people

Participation fee: 1,000 yen (includes tea picking experience and tea-filled lunch)

*Kids lunch available for 300 yen

The event will proceed rain or shine. In the event of rain, there will be a tea ceremony and lunch instead.

The tea picking at the "New Tea Enjoyment Party" is simple.

Instead of being hand-picked as is done naturally, the tea leaves are picked at one stem and two leaves from machine-harvested tea fields.

Even small children around 3 years old can walk there (about 200m).

You will walk to the tea plantation and have a simple experience.

Come experience seeing, touching and picking the tender new shoots in early May.
