Fifth grade students at Toyota City Wakazono Elementary School
I was invited to the festival.
Fifth graders pick tea leaves in May.
Next, we experienced rice planting and harvesting.
The activity is intended to express gratitude and also serve as a way to present what they have learned.
For this festival,
The fifth grade elementary school students put a lot of thought into creating and preparing the presentation.
Among the various events, they held a tea quiz,
They have fun and come up with creative ideas,
It was an impressive and happy time.
In addition, elementary school students grew and cooked rice.
We were also treated to the traditional dish "hand-picked tea rice."
It made me feel happy and it was delicious.
I was very happy to be invited to such a wonderful event.
It was a very valuable and fulfilling time.
Starting with the principal, teachers,
To all 5th grade students.
