We held a tea picking experience.
Pick tea at a natural tea garden,
We also had a tour of the factory.

A factory for tencha leaves before they become matcha
We were given a tour inside the factory.

The Takakaen factory has many custom-made machines.
No more photography is allowed,
Visitors will be able to go further inside.

We were able to observe the process while getting close enough that it was not dangerous.

We had a tea picking experience.
Foreigners experience tea picking at Takakoen Tea Farm
The experience was held at Takakaen, sponsored by TIA.
Tea picking experience at a natural tea plantation
Everyone participated with a big smile and lots of fun.
Many people participated in the tea-making class in the winter.
It was nice to meet you again.

お茶摘み体験を開催しました
2023年5月4日 みどりの日に
We held a tea picking experience.
自然仕立て 手摘み茶園での茶摘み体験
人数を絞り、10名～15名迄として募集した所
15名様が参加して下さいました。
有機肥料主体で育てた
自然仕立ての茶園は大人ほど背が高く
新芽がかおる茶木に囲まれながら体験して頂きました。
様々な感動や嬉しい感想の言葉が聞けて
私達も嬉しかったです。
お茶摘みのバイトもしたい！
というお声も多く聞こえました。

小学生お茶摘み体験を行いました
2023年5月1日
若園小学校5年生の児童128名が
総合的学習の一貫としてお茶摘み体験に来てくれました。
丁寧に摘んでくれて
茶園で茶摘み（夏も近づく八十八夜~)の歌を
摘みながら大合唱してくれた組もあり、
「私が感想文を書かなくては….」と、
園主が感動していました。
とても元気な5年生。
楽しんで体験してくれたようで嬉しかったです。
来て下さった5年生、保護者の方々、先生方

小学生お茶摘み体験を行いました
2021年4月30日、地元の小学校
若園小学校 5年生児童が
総合学習の時間で、お茶摘み体験に来てくれました。
摘むにつれて夢中になっていく子供達がとても可愛く印象的でした。
お茶の歴史の話や、お茶の加工品についての学習もしました。
子供達が持ち帰った茶葉はそれぞれのおうちで加工します。
加工の仕方が心配な方は
レシピをお渡ししますので
高香園までお越し下さい。
来て下さった子供達、引率の親御さん方、携わって下さった先生方、

今年のお茶摘み体験中止のお知らせ
お茶摘みは行っておりますが、
新型コロナウイルスの感染予防の為、
今年はお茶摘みの体験を中止致しました。
毎年多くの方にお茶摘み体験をして頂いておりました。
今年も、無印良品 名古屋名鉄百貨店様
大ナゴヤ ツアーズ 様
外国人向けお茶摘み体験
などなど多くの体験を予定しておりましたが
全て中止となりました。
お問い合わせも多く頂いており、
例年であれば大変嬉しく、お受け致しますが、
今年は、申し訳ございません。
来年以降、また開催するときは、是非ご参加お願いします。
