We held a party to enjoy new tea.
This project is a collaboration with local moms and orange moms.

In a machine-harvested tea plantation
Picked with one stem and two leaves
It's a simple experience

We dressed up as tea girls and took commemorative photos.
A genuine "kasuri kimono"
I put it through my sleeve.

After that, we returned to Hidamari (next to Takakoen)
Tea ceremony lecture by the owner of Takakaen.
Many people take notes,
I'm glad to see your enthusiasm.

The long-awaited
A tea-filled lunch.
Orange Mama waved her arm.
Comes with Takakaen's new matcha dessert.

To last year's repeat customer,
For those coming from Nagoya,
Local Toyota residents, etc.
Thank you to all the participants.
Please come visit us again.
Tea picking has begun.
Tea picking began today, April 30th, 2015.
First, let's start with the tea plantations where the deep-steamed sencha tea is made.

Takakoen Hand-picked Deep-steamed Tea
In very good weather
Tea picking
We got off to a good start.

My daughter, an elementary school student,
I joined from 7:30am.

Today is a substitute holiday, so
I'm excited.
(The one on the right is after it was removed.)
Tea picking will continue for about a month from today until the end of May.
For a while, we'll be picking sencha tea leaves.
Afterwards, we picked matcha tea leaves.
We will all pick them by hand.
If you are interested, please contact us.
We will be holding a tea picking experience event, "Enjoying New Tea."
It was well received last year
Orange Mama and Takakaen collaboration
We will be holding the "New Tea Appreciation Party" again this year.
