The event will proceed rain or shine. In the event of rain, there will be a tea ceremony and lunch instead.

 

The tea picking at the "New Tea Enjoyment Party" is simple.

Instead of being hand-picked as is done naturally, the tea leaves are picked at one stem and two leaves from machine-harvested tea fields.

Even small children around 3 years old can walk there (about 200m).

You will walk to the tea plantation and have a simple experience.

Come experience seeing, touching and picking the tender new shoots in early May.
