On Thursday, May 1, 2014, 133 fifth-grade students from four classes at Toyota City Wakazono Elementary School attended the event.<\/p>\n

They came to Takakaen's tea fields to try their hand at tea picking.<\/p>\n

As part of learning about the tea industry, a traditional industry in the region,<\/p>\n

This is a comprehensive learning experience of Japanese tea and tea picking.<\/p>\n
