This year, it has been warm and we have been hand-picking Sencha (deep-steamed tea) since April.<\/p>\n

The hand-picking of matcha begins now.<\/p>\n

The picking takes place amidst the fresh greenery, under shade (black cheesecloth).<\/p>\n
